LUXURY car make Rolls-Royce has celebrated its 110th anniversary in style, with a gathering of cars at both Goodwood motor racing circuit and Manchester’s Midland Hotel. We have the first photos of the 2013 Porsche 911 GT (991) ahead of its reveal this week at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Update: Porsche has now caught up with the first photos arriving and we have official details of what the new 911 GT3 has to offer. A rise in weight from the last GT3 sees the new GT3 weighing in at 1430kg, but power is up to 468bhp and 324lb/ft of torque from a tweaked version of the 3.8 litre flat 6 which now revs to 9000rpm with power going to the back wheels through the auto ‘box.
Hyundai Veloster Turbo confirmed for the UK
Just the other day – ahead of the SEMA show – Hyundai’s US boss confirmed that the new Veloster will be coming as more than just a pedestrian coupe, with plans to launch the Hyundai Veloster Turbo in to the US. Hyundai UK were unable to confirm the UK would get the Velsoter Turbo at the time, but hot on the heels of the news overnight that Hyundai will take the Velsoter Turbo in Australia, we’ve had an email confirming the UK too will see the turbo version of the Velsoter on offer when it hits the UK in 2012. Which changes the whole game for Hyundai in the UK.
